Default Huntin, Trail ATV help choose

Hello everyone.. to start off with im new to the site so i really hope iv posted in the right forum.

Iv rode dirtbikes and atvs since i was a wee kid but anyways

Im currently lookin for a ATV i can take in the trails at the cottage, to go hunting with and the odd muddy puddle in the woods.

My main concern is relability, i dont care much about its power output or handling bc as stated its a hunt, trail quad..

Iv had a hard time deciding what to get because i talk to one person and they say oh dont go this brand bc they have lots of problems or vise versa.

Obv the Can Ams seem to be the most reliable but there outa my price range..

Iv narrowed it down to 2 atvs. the Polaris Sportsman 800. like the looks, like the front storage rack . great for hunting( heard some negitive comments on these those for relaiblity)??

and the Suzuki King quad 750axi, good looking machine, alot of people are sayin more reliable?

any comments would be great, try not to be bias if you ride a polaris or suzuki, just want a reliable machine thats gonna last me awhile. thanks everyone

The words 'reliability' and Honda go hand in hand. In my opinion Honda is the most reliable ATV out there. I ride a Suzuki for the power because I use it for pullin trees on my place but my wife has a Honda 400 AT that is as reliable as they come. Another member on here in Utah had over 13,000 miles on a Honda Rubicon.

Honda is considered most reliable but outdated feature wise. They're the only company of the major manufacturers that doesn't offer a way to fully lock the front end. Polaris is very comfortable riding, has the best on board storage options, and has lots of easy to attach boxes and bags. Can-Am is most powerful per cc of the utilities and is very comfortable also. Yamaha has great reliability in a pretty well rounded quad. Suzuki tends to be best bang for the buck. Kawasaki doesn't offer as many models to choose from as the others and uses a weird little lever that you pull in and must hold onto in order to keep the front locked. I don't know much of anything about Arctic Cats.
