I've always done real well on craigslist. Not sure what to recommend for your ride, but for your wife i would suggest a Polaris Trailblazer. We have a 2003 (2-stroke up to 2006 I believe) and my wife ( 5' 3" ) and kids have a lot of fun on it. Also, Kymco makes some nice quads in the Mongoose and MXU models that would fit your wife and kids. As mentioned previously, the Sportsman 90 is nice for the kids as well. We had a 2003 (also a 2-stroke) for awhile. Pretty easy to find the Polaris quads at a good price but harder to find the Kymcos around my area.
