Buying Quad... Need advice

I checked some of the specs on both. 2013 Yamaha Grizzly 550 FI Auto. 4x4 EPS Specifications, specs 2013 Polaris Sportsman 550 EPS Sunset Red ATV: Specifications They're both really good quads and they're both $8,699 according to their websites. Yamaha is supposed to be a little more reliable. Polaris has rebates up to $1,000 on some models but I don't know if the 550 EPS is one of them. You'd have to talk to a dealer. The Sportsman has more suspension travel, bigger tires and better wheels, higher rack capacity, and higher towing capacity, but the Grizzly is a lot lighter.

The most important thing to do is for you to ride both, talk to the dealers, look at their service dept and weigh how important each is to you. I have never road either, but I'm sure they are both nice bikes. There will like be some tiny differences in the product that tip the scale. The other factors may or may not be huge.

I don,t know if your into night time riding but the Polaris has three 50w lights while the Yamaha only two 35w.
The Polaris is a larger ATV in demention also with much nicer stock rims and tires.
