Hi, I'm looking to get a new quad and I was wondering how much cc I need. I'm 180 pounds and looking to just ride trails at an average to quick pace. I'm not going to be racing but it's rocky in my area and I want plenty of power on the low end for climbing.

How much are you looking to spend? If money isnt an issue go with the 400ex or raptor. The raptor is faster than the 400ex but I think the 400ex might be better in the woods.(I am not sure dont quote me).I would go with the raptor cause it is awesome at everything. Jumping,trails,racing,etc... The raptor is 660 CCs it should not be too much power my cousin had one he is only 140.

 

Are you looking for a 4WD, or a 2WD. If your going to do alot of trail riding I would suggest getting a 4WD. If you want the best of both worlds, get a 4WD with a 2WD option.
