Requirements for buying a Honda Trx90
I'm looking at buying a trx90 for my 7 year old after him riding a friends all week in Pismo (his coolster 110 was giving me troubles). The quad worked out great for him but I keep hearing from dealers that they cant sell me one if he is under 12. So my question is......If I go into the dealer myself and say its for my 12 year old, do I have to prove he is 12 or do they take my word for it?
I understand the rules are there for a reason, but there is no way a 50 will do us any good seeing as we ride in the dunes 100% of the time. Thanks!

I,d just buy a used one. People buy those and resell them once there kids grow out of them and move on.
My friend bought a trouble free brand name used Japanese kids atv and only lost $100 after reselling it after 2 years. The new owners will do the same and so on and so on.
A new TRX90 cost as much as a good used 400EX, its crazy.
Kids atvs are not around for long and kids do not abuse them so they are always getting handed off and traded from one buyer to the next.
Does not work for Chinese kids atvs because they are troublesome new and have almost no resell value.
