Value of atvs
#1
Hello new to the forum,
I need help on what thee three ATVs are worth;
Two 1989 banshees. Good condition according to seller. Modded but don't what he actually did to them
And also one 1988 trx250, stock, good condition as well.
I'm located I'm the bay Area if that helps value them. He's asking $4200 for all. Come with titles etc.
What you guys think?
Thanks

That's more than I though! Let me attach some pictures of the listing, and if you could take a look and let me know what you think. No accessories btw. Thanks

His definition of good is not the same as mine. They look pretty rough cosmetically, and tires look pretty worn, but that is easy to fix. The TRX250R does not have the original plastic. This generally, not always, means it has been wrecked. The Banshees are missing some of their body work which probably means they have been crashed as well. This is not uncommon at all. Now, if everything else is okay...suspension, frame, engine, it might be worthwhile. You are looking at $1400 per quad. If they come with titles, I would have to say that they are worth the asking price. They would be great project quads if you know how to do the work yourself. Make sure you get to see them in person. Carefully inspect them and ride them. Make an offer. All he can say is no. I would gladly pay $3000. Good luck.

This is what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

If they all run well, it sounds like a pretty good package deal to me. Other than needing new tires on each quad, they sound like they are pretty much ready to ride. Cosmetics don't mean that much to me, especially on quads that old. You buy them to ride, not look at. But yes if that is the asking price, almost everyone is willing to negotiate and it doesn't hurt to make a counteroffer of a lower price. Might be able to settle somewhere in the middle. Spend a few hundred bucks on new tires and hopefully you're good to go. You could probably put some new tires on them and clean them up a bit and sell one or more of them and flip them and get some of your money back if you want.
