I've never owned a Blaster but one of my friends does and she hasn't had any problems with it at all that I'm aware of. And one of my friends used to have a Blaster but now rides a Suzuki Quadracer 450R or whatever it's called. He has a Banshee too that he doesn't ride as often. AFAIK he never had any problems with his Blaster either but he wanted more power and outgrew it.

My daughter beat the snot out of hers. The newer ones had better brakes at least. I wasn't going to put up with that machine long and sold it to a guy for a parts machine. Stuck her on my R.

A blaster would work well for you. The only problem with 2 strokes is mixing the oil. However, some blasters actually have a special system that can do it for you.
