Default How many miles do you put on your ATV ever year?

I'm looking at getting some used ATVs and wondering what is too many miles? How many miles do you guys put on your ATVs every year? My buddy says to stay away from anything over 3k miles but that just seems way low to me.

I will make a suggestion - take a look at a particular ATV that you may be interested in. Then go look for that same ATV's owners manual and see what the maintenance intervals are.

Use that as a reference on what may or may not need. Then from there take a further look around and see if you can find the factory service manual and see what is involved in doing those services.

Hope this helps!

I look for maintenence records, I have all reciepts and records for everything I have ever owned. When it came time to sell them, usually first out bought the machine!! Talking about maintenence is one thing, proving it is another. As long as properly taken care of and not beat up 3k would be ok but, not at a top dollar price....with this virus crap, atv/utv sales have been sky high as have been prices. I thought folks were broke??
