Hey guys, just wondering how many miles and/or hours are on your quads. Thought it would be interesting to know. My forman s has 1723 miles. Not sure about the hours.

 

My 400EX has the most miles. It is going on 10 years old now (original engine and even original clutch!), and I would say it has been ridden 250 miles every month...so you do the math....

Guess I got my moneys worth out of this one!

 

I am looking at a used Foreman S with 12k and 1.1k hours. Looks and sounds good but the miles scare me.'

Any Opinion?

 

12,000 miles is a lot especially if it hasn't been maintained properly. I bought my 03 with 1600 miles on it for $3250 so make sure that you don't pay near that for it. Really all depends on who had it before, how it was maintained, what it was used for,etc. I know some guys that have more miles than that though. I'd probably look around some more though if it were me. There are a couple of good atv classified sites out there.

I have over 10,000 miles on my Foreman 400. The 88 Honda 300 has been ridden everywhere the 400 has gone since I owned them both at the same time. The Foreman is a 2000 model, so the 300 had about 12 years worth of heavy riding before the Foreman was even built........................I don't know Recon Ranger- there is more than a good chance my 300 has you beat- although it has had more years to do it! LOL


I saw a Foreman 400 for sale at an Arctic Cat dealer one day 2 years ago. They had taken it on trade. It was used in oil fields. I have saw atv's and atc's that sat in the rain for 10 or more years that had less rust than that thing did- but the odometer..............30,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
