Does anyone know if quad shops will do an over look of your quad if you were buying one used to make sure and tell you the mechanical problems of the quad were what the seller told you?

And would the seller let you take the quad to the shop without buying it?

I am buying a older used 300ex. Are there any specific problem areas to check on the 300 ex or just quad specifics that a untrained eye could see?
