my friend wants to buy a 97 banshee off a kid for $500. but its a 97!. it doesnt have any rear tires, which seems kinda odd to me. why would someone sell a banshee for 500$ , unless there was something wrong with it.???
this dont make any sense to me, maybe some of you could gimme some help on this.

Ride the quad, look at it, if your really unsure ask if you can have a mechanic look at it.

 

Uhmm maybe it is stolen? You never know. Ask if he has the papers........

 

Stolen/Found it in the bush maybe/Broken. His best bet is find the VIN and see if it is stolen. If not buy it if it is in good shape and runs all right. If anything he can use it for parts if he has a place to store it. Or even sell it for parts.

 

i thought about the stolen thing...but i doubt it. my friend wants to buy it off a 13 year old. the quad belongs to his brohter who left it when he got married and left home. i suspect the banshee is in good shape, but the kid probably thinks that hes selling it for a good price...thats my idea

 

well then as paulio said get a friend or mechanic who knows whats up check it out. Prop the azz end up and see how it runs, go through the gears etc...... It may be a great deal.

 

I saw a dealer in Chicago where you could get the same wrecked Banshee for $450 OTD.
