That puts you around 140. I would think at that weight you will need no modifications unless you want them. You would be as fast as someone much heavier that is piped and jetted.

actually im 135lbs, but the raptor just doesn't feel fast enough for me anymore, im used to the power. I raced a couple bigger guys on xr650r's and they beat me because they had more top end, i dont like to lose. all the mods that i have done so far have only added weight, i dont need any more speed or power for trail riding as it is already more than i would ever need for tight or somewhat tight trails, i just want more power for when i drag race friends. i may be lighter, but my top speed is still just 72 or so; i dont want to change the sprocket, i want to keep the low end power.

Hey guys,
I too am looking for an upgrade. I have a Grizzly 660 I bought last year. I need something with more snort! :-) It seems to me the Raptor would be the logical choice, but the C-Dale sounds better and better every time I hear about it.
Is the C-Dale Fuel Injected? Does this conpensate for tempature? I live in Wisconsin and we ride the Ice alot. I would constantly have to reject the Raptor for different temps... Any suggestions?
Are mods for the C-Dale more expensive? How much more is the C-Dale vs the Raptor?

Jared,
Yep, the C-dale is fuel injected.
I've heard that you can get a new map (computer program) for starting/running in cold temps.
Don't know much about costs of mods for the cannondale, it doesn't appear that you actually have much of a need to mod it.
C-dale Cannibal $6800 MSRP
Raptor $6500 MSRP

Tankota,
Thanks for the Input.. I didn't realize they were so close in price... I figured if I got the Raptor, I'd do A-arms and Shocks almost right away... I'm almost better of with the C-Dale... Thats going to be a TOUGH decision... I really like the Yamaha name.. My Grizzly has performed awesome... No reverse on the C-Dale kind of sucks... Its going to be tough!

Woops, the MSRP I said for the cannibal was incorrect. It is actually $200 bucks higher. However, laptraffic got his for about $600 off msrp and the following link has theirs advertised for about that price.

Locally last week one dealership had the raptor for $6200 or $6500 w/ $350 in "free" gear. I spotted the cannibal for the price I first said and thought that was the msrp...my mistake.
