Yea its the most bang for the buck, for $4500 you get a 400 with Auto and 2W/4WD, tell me a better deal! Yea those things you mentioned are nice. Don't just talk smack, back it up, what is the best bang for the buck? Can you get a 400 2 and 4WD with Auto and diff lock and good suspension with IRS for $4500?????? Oh and lets not forget, it has won 2 shootouts on ATV action magazine.

Ramg66 is absolutely right on this - I took a chance on the Eiger instead of waiting for the P360 to come out. I wound up with a 4x4 that goes anywhere I want it to, is comfortable and easy to ride, good in mud, good on trails, tight turning in the woods, solid as a rock and gets great gas milage. I usually run in company with a P650 and the ONLY place that I can't hang with him is whenever we hit an open fireroad. I went from an IRS bike to the Eiger and haven't found it to be much of a factor - except the Eiger powerslides the rear much better.

Sure, there are better ATV's out there, once you shell out an extra grand or more. Best bang for the buck sums it up quite well.

Can't comment on your U.S. prices but up here in Canada the Outlander has far more features including ind sus, auto, 2&4wd, + visco lock diff @ same $$ as Suz 400 & the Cat with same engine has ind sus, high low, 2&4wd, auto or semi-auto for less $$$.

Buying my first Atv today. 03 Suzuki 400 auto 4x4. Dealer offered it to me for $4599 for machine and $4799 with 4 year extended warrentee. Is this price fair? It seems rather cheap compared to the rest of the 400s around. I see that there is a little concern over the stock tires, is this something I should upgrade right away. Thanks

I bought the red one, love it. For hunting I really think green is not that much of an advantage, Ive been hunting deer and elk for 20 years on a white jeep and have never had a problem.

SXR6 Well I don't know much about the Bomb, everyone told me to stay away from them, too heavy and too many problems, And I seriously doubt you can buy one cheaper than a Eiger in the states, and as for the Arctic cat it came in 4th place in this months shootout, in ATV Action Magazine, by the way the article was about the best affordable automatic ATV in the middle class, the bomb was not there....too much $$$$$

RAMG66; Did you actually price an Outlander, How many problems can a new model have??? Old style Bomby's have always been reliable bikes, ( not talking sport bike here ). At 575lbs, I don't think I'd call it a heavy bike, Pol 400's are 725lbs, WHAT would you call them???? At least it has all disc brakes, a front diff that works, & an ind rear that rides well while giving maximum traction all of which your Suz has none of. Don't get me wrong Suz makes a good bike they just took a step backwards when they dropped the semi-ind Quadrunners in favor of the cheaper to make solid axle bike, makes for a good sports bike but marginal off-roader.

Bombs are the most stupidiest ugliest ATVs i have ever seen, there sports are alright but i kant see anyone wanting a Bombardier. I would recommend going for ONLY the Big Four ATV Brands that know what the hell there doing, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawi. Oh maybe Polaris, i think they have improved alot in the years, i dont know what they were thinking when they made a 2-stroke 4wd chain drivin.

Sorry Eiger, I didn't put my Suz underware on when I got up this mornin, even though I do own one. If you ever pull your head out of your *** take a deep breath & stick it back in before you learn anything!!
