650 Outlander Shocks and Electrical Message
#1
I bought a used 07 650 outlander and wanted to know how to change the electrical message when the machine turns on.
Plus, the front suspension makes a lot of "squeaking noise" over any bump, even sitting on the machine makes a noise. In addition, when the machine starts out you can hear a metallic vibration until the machine starts going faster.
Does anyone else have these problems, or is this normal for the can-am.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
I have the BRP warranty until 2010.

To change the message ,the dealer has to do it. I've tried everything short of changing out the ecm.
Check and see if the spring on the shocks are rubbing. Also has it been greased?? I have sprayed the shock bolts with WD -40 to keep them quite.

Thanks for the info! I guess I am going to live with the message.
The machine has not been greased since I bought it with 200 miles. The original owner said it had its first 100 mile workover from the dealer, and everything was ok. I tried to spray the bolts with WD 40, but it didn't work. The springs do not appear to be touching. I don't think their worn out, because the quad only has 400 miles. In addition, the back is quiet.
Any other suggestions on how to quiet the front suspension down.
