OMR this is probably the only time i will ever do this.....lol false, cdi can work and not be dead. i had this issue with my vortex. bike ran fine last fall. refreshed top end, bike would not start kept back firing. cam/crank timing was on. vortex firing. started paying close attention while watching plug fire and timing between compression and plug seemed odd. put the rwr on it fired right off. the vortex was firing on the exhaust stroke. how this has happend i have no clue. i am going to have jeff send it off and have it checked out to see if it can be fixed as i need it for nitrous.

If I recall the DS is setup to fire on both compression and exhaust.
The Vortex firing only on exhaust is weird.

I bet your getting anxious to get that beast of yours on the track.
