A while back my battery died on my 05 DS650X, but at that time I thought it was something else like my rectifier or something like that, so everytime i would turn on my ignition my tachometer would go crazy and jump up to 7000 rpm and "shiver" like it was cold lol, keep in mind this is happening with the engine off.

I replaced the battery and now that the ds can start my tach doesnt work. I'm wondering if the tach is done or if theres something else that can be fixed to bring back my tach.
