Done some looking this mornning, found that groung on the head light was melted off. Could this have happend when I lost my reg./rec. ? Could a bad connection cause the problum i'am haveing now ? I put a metter on the head light socket and reved the bike . At idle I got 12.42V. When I reved it up ,it went to 14.32-.34.I don't know if that can help or not .thanks guys.

Your voltages are correct. Clean and preserve all of your connections and ensure your grounds are good. Lack of ground can wreak havoc on these bikes.

Default You said it !!

Dad and I Cleaned the head light socket. ( what was left ) Had to seperate the ground wire from the socket. It seemed to solve the prob.
He says we have to get a new head light socket. I took most of the after noon & cleaned as many contackets as I could find & get to.With in reason. It's nice to have a site like this to come to. Helps dad too..LOL
Thanks for the help !!
