loading ramp recs and tools etc.
What do you all use to load your atv on your truck? Any specific loading rack rails recommendations/manufacturers?? Also, what about maintenance tool recommendations and fluids for my quad. I have the service manual and everything they rec. is Honda, which I don't have a problem with but was wondering what you folks use that is highly rated and reliable and of high quality etc.

When I ride by myself, i like to load my Grizzly into my truck bed with a tri-fold aluminum ramp, it is as wide as the tail gate, and folds up and stores under the quad while I'm driving.
As far as oil, hard to beat Amsoil for synthetic, Valvoline also makes a good ATV syn oil. Mystic brand has come out with a nice 0w40 full syn ATV oil I have been using, reasonably priced, great quality, and have had zero problems with it, ran it for 4 days in the Moab desert riding the rocks in up to 109 degrees with no problems at all. Any full synthetic ATV wet clultch rated oil will give you good protection, if you have a spin on oil filter, there are many aftermarket replacements you can cross reference in place of the Honda filter. Purolator Pure One is a really good one, along with Wix, Napa Gold is also a high quality one.

I've used 2 x 12's for years. Couple of strips of light gauge expanded metal, and fencing staples to fasten them with is all the grip that's needed.
Had a quad since '86 (Honda) .... presently ride a '90 350D that I bought new. The 350D is small dimension wise. Quads of to-day are huge compared to the early ones, and to-days trucks are mostly 6 1/2' boxes ...... I digress
