Stock Shock question ????
Does any one know how much weight the rear stock shock and spring is rated at, or comes set at from the factory? My 2000 DS650 seems alittle soft for my 245lbs. The top red spring is pretty much compressed so I don't know if that is a stock setting or if the previous owner had it adjusted.? Thanks
Also anyone have a stock set of handlebars for sale?

Dude Tightening the preload isnt really a fix for an undersprung shock. Springs that are designed to hold you up coupled with proper valving is what it takes to stop bottoming out and still controll the movement of your suspension. If you do any high jumping and really hard landings then i recommend a new set of shocks built to you. But thats just my opinion..

Get a nitrogen set up and charge the preload back to 300 psi or take it to a shop to have it done...mine was flat and was having trouble with it.You cant check it once its chraged you will loose most of the charge that way so set your gauge for just over 300 and it will be perfect my bike feels like new now.
