well had a really good time, started out a little ruff ko'd a raptor at comp, flipped the ds on top of me, but i won and one tire repair all was good again. it was a novice rider cutting across the finish line to go back down. so you know the finish crests a hill so you can't see who's there until you come over the top. the ds was running great lost to one other ds it had a 760 was very pleased at how good i ran against it, the bad part was not many raptors to pick on. well hope everyone had as much fun as our group.

sandman430- glad to hear you did not get hurt on that one sounds like a dumb move on the part of the raptor rider.we only rode on monday so you were probably already gone, at least we didnt see you.i got a chance to beat a few pretty fast banshees but i couldnt quite take that one cannondale that is very fast i see he has an air shifter now and that seems to really help him or did he always have that?we will be going the next few weekends so we will probably see you there and when we do i want you to ride my raptor and see what proper jetting has done for me,it still may not be as fast as some with my big body on it but with a lighter rider i think it could really fly.

sandman, sounds like you guys had a great time. sorry i couldn't make it, but i had a blast up at detroit past brightenbush. got in some good riding with the family. there was a beartracker and prairie 360 there so of course i showed them what real speed was. I turned the bike on its side going sideways up a hill but barely bent the plastic (already popped back out) and got a few nics in the tach and rear wheel. nothin too bad...thank god for those handle guards or i might be buying a new clutch. also checked top speed on the pavement with my cousin's gps. 67.2 with the 14 sprocket. 70.6 with the 16. would've been faster but kept hitting the rev limiter. i could tell the bike wanted to rev out. had plenty of power left.

Looks like you need to get your story straight there sandman you didn't k,o,d that raptor it k,o,d you i was riding with that raptor and it had a little scuff mark on the tire and it seemed to me that you tire was a little bent and the bike was on top of you just had to straighten that out just in case the crash got to you. and my ds doesn't have a 760 kit on it it has a little bigger cam and carb.

dirt demon i didn't like your comment there on the hill much and believe me that thing you were on was far from the 760 that was running around, it had a chrome frame and a jug that had pami on the side. but hey thanks for clearing that up for me. hope you guys are teaching that girl how to ride before she really does hurt someone. that thing about she was just a girl got the women in my group a little worked up. in case you didn't know don't hang out at the top of the race way there. oh and thanks for hanging out to see if there was anything you could do to help me get my quad back to camp with the flat tire

it was all ok because she was a girl, there was no blame directed at anyone, it was just a mistake of someone being in the race lane. i just thought it would have been the right thing to ask if i was ok, since i just got slammed into the ground by a ds. i guess she thought she might have to pay for something, just so she will know i have insurance for that kind of stuff. anyways i've said to much i hope she learned something and all is well.it showed my son what can happen when you don't pay attention so for that it was a good thing.
