Fill me in on the DS, Need to know EVERYTHING
#11
Gotta say that I have owned 3 Banshees, 2 250rs, 1 raptor and 2ds 650s and i would have to say hands down that i have had more fun on the DS than ANY of them. Sure they all had their strong points, The Shees were incredibly fast, The r s handled great and were light as a feather, The raptor, well lets not touch that one. Anyway the Ds has proved itself to me in reliability, power and suspension. Although the suspension is valved a little on the soft side, it is set up for desert not mx. But i do have a great time on the mx track and I give those youngsters on the cannondales and 250r s a good run for their money. To sum it all up, Its an awesome machine. Hail to the mighty DS!!

Well I just got back from riding at St Joe's.....Man i love this bike.....
Sorry probably didnt help you much did it?
Ok here goes....
Whooped every raptor i raced except for one..(man he was fast) Stock ones, piped ones....banshees where trailing behind as well....but then i get whooped by a doggone 400ex...man Jay (pudjumper) that beast will flat out get with it...especially out of the hole...
Seriously though...the bike handles great. In the trails or in the open, the power is there when you want it. Just think of sitting in the most comfortable couch in the world....and then add 650 cc's of brute and reliable power, and you'll have the DS. Hey DSracer.. i know the DS is capable of racing open class.. ive been thinking about entering some races that are held in odessa tX, the only thing that holds me back is it is 4 hours away.. anyway i know i could do some whoopin on all of them cause im darn good at ridin this thing and i got Zero preload TCS all round that ive done alot to get just perfectly dialed in... anyway they run an open class and let the raptors and Predators in and last time i talked to the racers they hadnt had a DS out there yet.. so i need to get up there and show them wassup.... anyway depending on the track, if it was tight and technical i think most would agree it would be easier and faster to rip around the thing on a cannondale moto! but since i dont got one of those and dont want one, ill go up there and rip um a new a-holes with my DS! i promise! I am totaly in support of MX'n ds, they are capable you just not in stock form.. better shocks and smaller tires, couple mods, your good to go!
