Help, I'm in a bind. My Intake is so tight I can't even get a .001" guage under it. I've tried all the area shops and no one has any shims avalible, it will be over a week before I can get the ones I need. I have a weekend ride planned for 6th and 7th and don't want to burn any of my valves[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] that would be bad and cost much more. I could use two 2.15mm and one 2.25mm shims if anyone has extras laying around. Please PM me I will pay a fair price.

If I can't find any, has anyone ever tried to shim the Cam Cage? I am thinking of shimming the Intake side only to get enough clearance until I can get the proper units. My Exaust is close to being right .004" and .006".

The last weekend I rode, I noticed when cold and first starting, it would burp through the carb once or twice than all seemed OK. I hope it's not already too late.

try the kawaski and yamaha dealers there just 29mm rounds even suzuki dealers have them here.
