Talk about problems with new DS650's

I really have never had them really hot to my kowledge. I'll try what you recomended this weekend when i have some time to work on my bike. I have used that stuff on my jeep and it worked well i never thought to use it on my bike. I really didn't think that there was any adjustment but it doesn't hurt to look. thanks for the help.

Now just because you purchased an appropriately colored (lemon) atv don't take it out on me. I'm here monitoring the forums of the great yellow problematic machine for a representative of Bombardier...plus I would consider getting one someday (5th-6th production run)if they ever straighten some issues out.

Again, I'll second that comment. No one here CARES about Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki or Polaris for that matter. We didn't come to the Bombardier Forum to read about how much you like your brand X ATV. Thank you, very much.

Monitoring for a representative? Give me a break. Get lost. Any "representitive" worth anything would do so on his/her own to get the information first hand, not second hand from somebody that doesn't even like the vehicle in the first place, and someone that acts as juvenile as you do.
Not much difference in the name juventus and juvenile, eh? :-)
The DS is far from being a Lemon.
I wouldn't keep a Yamahaha if it were given to me for free!
Nobody has asked for your input and all you do is bash the DS. Get a life! I am not on the other Brands forums telling them how happy with the DS I am. I am the proud owner of a DS. If there was something else out there that I liked better, I would have bought it, regardless of price. Price is not an issue for me. I just didn't have time to build one myself.
Laters, (well in your case, I hope not, since you will hopefully get a clue and go away!)

Well today is a glourious day for me I guess. The rep's from Bombardier came today they are putting a new engine in my bike so I guess its re breakin time for me again. Also I tried to address all the problems that Ive see hear to the reps as with my own problems. First I can answer the break problems with the squeeling the reps told me that the break pads are made of an organic material and a metal content. The metal content in the break pads is high thats why you are getting the squeel. They are supposed to be trying out new break pads that have a solid organic material that will eliminate the squeeling but the pads wont last as long. I have heard about problems with shocks bending and this problem is due to the company that makes the shocks. I guess from what they told me that theres air in the shock and when you come down from a big jump it's possible that when the shock first comes in contact with the ground its like not having any suspension and the shock bends from what I understand. The problem with water in the air cleaner is another that they know about and are adressing the problem but they didnt have an answer for the fix yet. My engine had a problem with a counter shaft inside the motor I guess from what they said its bent they think. What happend is that when I returned the bike they took the motor appart and found nothing inside that would be causeing the problem but before they did this they lifted the rear of the bike and not only myself but 3 other people heard the noise so they couldnt say I was crazy.
So these tech reps put my engine back together reinstalled it into my bike and ran it today it ran flawlessly (figures) but from what they said was at high speed they heard a noise and they think that shaft is bent so without pissing around there replaceing the motor. Also they saw a slight bend in the rear sprocket and there replaceing it to. So I guess I'm doing pretty good but I think I'm going to have to fight with them on this warranty with all the problems I have had I feel that the least I deserve is a year warranty. If they feel this product is as good as they say and back it up 110% then they shouldn't hesitate about it but if they fight me about it then I guess they dont believe in there product so time will tell and we will see what happens.

Im glad to hear that you are going to come out of this on top. Thanks for the info on the breaks. Did they happen to say when the other pads will be out? It is nice to come to this forum and get useful info. Most of the other forums are just a ego trip. I think that the difference is due to the age of the owners of the DS. I know that I have much better things to do than bash other bikes on some forum. I personally could care less who's bike is faster or better I have a crap load of fun on my DS and that is good enough for me. (but it doesn't hurt to have one of the best bikes out right now)
