Default Modified end caps??

Is there any *real* performance increase from adding one of the billet end caps? I know it makes it kinda loud. For $100 the cap seems spendy when I could get a slip on for $200??? Any thoughts?

everyone will tell you to do a search or call you "retarted" on this one. but it is a good mod to add, and a search will give convince you to get one. there are probabilty a lot of people who will buy one if someone would offer them, like me. they seem to be the hot ticket.

RETARDS!!!

LMAO! just kdding!

Take your stock endcap and have your local exhaust shop cut a 3" hole around the two stock outlets. then replace it with a "spout" like you see on a ron-woods pipe. Youcan still use your stock baffle and packing. And thier will be NO slip-on that will out perform it either. you should be out no more than 30 bucks to do this, or you can ship your stock endcap to DSmike, and he will have his exhaust guy do it, and Ceramic coat it for $50.

OR you can buy my full(stock) exhaust system with this modded endcap, and the whole pipe is Ceramic coated, for $150.

Ya you have to re jet. Treat it as if it were a pipe. Your jets will depend on Your area and elevation. I suggest a Dyno-jet kit.

I had a modded endcap that Kyle (biggerisbetter) made me, and it was awesome. just as good, if not better than a slip-on. I crashed it, and busted up the endcap, so I just buchered my stock endcap and made a new one. works great.

I made my own end cap actuly a few, full open, a plate with a ton of 3/8 holes for back presure. the best setup I came up with is 5" supertrapp disks I bought off Ebay. Im running 12 now I got 24 all together. It realy works awsome the back presure it produces and flow gives me great low and a very strong mid and great top end. it realy is the best end cap i've made yet If you want to see it is on my page. If you want details how I did it let me know. my buddy has a 2002 Baja with K-N jet kit, FMF PC4, and I can pull him through the gears, and I was running the Supertrapp end cap and a Uni air filter jeted to 172.5. NO regrets and low cost.
