Default Clutch disc ?

I am going to order a clutch kit and woods 60% springs for my buddy's DS and was looking at it when I took it apart and didn't notice any difference in the discs, but when I called the dealer they told me that there were 8 metal plates, 7 standard fiber discs, and 1 odd disc. What is the odd disc and where does it go?

the odd disc probably means the last one (or first, whatever u prefer) that is shifted so many degrees. So the 7 fiber plates all look the same and align with each other but the last one doesnt align.

Just as the CrazyWhiteDude said.
I'll add that, the clutch basket has long slots in it that the disks slide into. There is also a real short slot at the top of the basket. this is where the odd disk goes. It's not as wide as he other slots. So only the odd disk will fit into it.

So what you are saying is the odd disc has narrower tabs to fit into the offset last slot. I was just curious because the odd disc cost more than the rest and I just wanted to know what the difference was.

Yep, thats about it. It looks exactly the same to me other than the tabs are smaller. I believe it's set in hat offset slot to act as a wear limiter so you start to slip before you go metal to metal.
