Default Clutch springs?

I just talked to Gary at TVI and he sells clutch spring that are harder than woods but softer than Pami. Has anyone tried them and if so what do you think?

The TVI are the same as the RWs 60%. The Pami are the stronger of the bunch.

If you don't believe me just get a spring compresser tester and measure. Or just mic and measure the coils. The TVI's sliped on my NOS bike.

I don't have that much power. All I have done to my DS is pipe, K&N, jetting, and Ron Woods CDI. I am thinking of going with the Ron Woods 60% because they are cheaper. I mean if they are the same, why not?

Too stiff of a clutch spring can cause the teeth to break off of the Rack Actuator shaft. That might be worth it if you are running NOS. But for most applications up to 60 hp, I doubt you would need that stiff of a spring.

So what do you guys think I should run for my application. I am 6'5" and 290. 40% or 60% Ron woods springs.

With good steels and fibers 60% are fine.
