Default Clutch gear bearing falling out

I just got my DS working and dialed in then bang ...pow . Ok the good news is that it really did not make that noise.

The smaller gear that connects to the taller gear for engaging the clutch keeps falling out of the clutch cover basket.

When i put it together everything is fine and that gear'bearing is snug as a !@#$%(well you know)

anyway... after the engine runs for a while it comes lose.

Now my lever has no tension and the cable is not broke.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I drive this TANK like I stole it!
and you wonder why! LOL.

I think it sounds like the "teeth" on your gear that your cable attaches to are getting alittle worn, SO if you notice the clutch action is only like 1/4 of a turn, so you should be able to take off the cable attachment thingy, and rotate the gear by 1/2 a turn then put the cable thingy back on. this should allow you to run on NEW teeth, and it should hold up better.

I hope that makes since with ALL that technical lingo and all!

Bigger.

I fully understand the technical lingo ...thanks for the advice.

However, since I bent some teeth trying to realign it the first time it will require a little work.

thanks again ,

I might just buy that new long gear.

If you do not ride it like you stole it then you should get a moped.

gary at tvi has those clutch actuators there like 45 bucks with next day shipping, i would say that it is bad if you say the teeth were bent there brittle and probably broke off.
