Does the water pump impeler have to come off

Default Does the water pump impeler have to come off

Does the water pump impeler have to come off when taking off the cover to install the clutch springs. Someone please help.

The impeller doen't have to come off. Make sure ALL the hex bolts (including the ones on the starter) are out and the gearshifter is off. Are you sure it isn't that the gasket is just being stubborn? Good luck.

it doesn't have to come off. sure you got all the bolts?
