Default Big thanks to Kenz Cycle Tech

Took my bike over to Ken this morning and he hooked me up. Helped me get my carbs dialed in as best as possible and had me on the dyno for about 2 hours.

Started out at about 47-48 HP and by the end of the session I think I just barely passed 50. This was on a dynojet dyno and it was about 100+ degrees this morning. Anyway I was pretty happy.

Kenz is a top notch shop, anyone thinking about motor work should atleast call him up and talk with him. He knows his stuff. I've ran the **** out of my motor since I got it and have had NO problems at all. That is what I expect after an engine build.

THANKS KEN.

didn't you dyno that high at before? i ask woods what a full stage three puts out and was told 60. i think i believe your numbers more. what compression are you running? i guess that dyno would put the ds stock at about 32 hp. man no wonder it takes so many mods to go fast.

Yes, I dynoed 49.66. I thought those #'s were high the second day. Look at Jiminok. From 37 to 50+ with just a carb. WOW!!!! LOL!!!!

This was on a dyno jet dyno and it was 100+ degrees out. And I was on pump gas. (forgot to bring race fuel). On a cooler day and race fuel I could do 52-53. I'm running 12.5-1 with oversize valves, cams, porting, and dual 41 fcr's. I find it hard to believe that woods can build a bike with the same parts with 10 more HP. I guess all dyno's are different.

A 690 Raptor on alky and fcr's pulled 61HP on this dyno so I'm not to far behind.

I'm happy with it for the money that has been spent so far, on any given weekend at Gordon's Well I can beat 80-85% of everyone out there including the banshees. And if AZSand would stop going with me that # might go up a little.

I'm working on weight savings now!

I'll have to get with Ken and get a print out, we were busy trying to tune the carbs I forgot to look at the torque. I'll get the print out and let you know.

Hows the back holding up?

I'm still interested in your swing arm, just need to get some funds together.

Good luck with the back, hope your "back" riding soon. No pun intended.

BTW, do you have any pics of your bike with the new swing arm on it?

I'll get the dyno sheet up asap.
