Who has switched from a 44 to a larger Lectron? Anybody?
I am in the process of going to a Lectron. I talked with Joe, I have no clue who he is but alot of people do. He seems to think one 44 would be good for me. I am scared of going to small. I am looking for opinons on the matter.
TIA

Thanks Bigger.
No I am going with one. I also talked with Packard. They both seem to think that one 44 would be right for me. BUT this is why I was asking before I bought one. I thought I had heard about some of you DS guys liking the 46 better than the 44. I even thought I heard someone trying the 48.
Thanks for the help!

Ok, I have the 46 high velocity..
How it works: it has a 48 bell, 46 at the needle then 44 into the intake. On a flow bench it flows more air then the tm 45 and the lectron46. Best of all it does it at a better fuel pickup and air velocity!!
So far I have only had mine up to 3rd gear and its wild, I can be in LOW rpms and 2nd gear and punch it and it just rips the front up and flys. NO bog nothing to tune out!! I was in third gear and wacked it and it just opend right up leaving a big old roost of grass behind me.. O yea, the front was up againe also
I really really like this carb. I need to get it on the trail and do a review of the carb...
Might be a while big cuz I just lost my job and money is very important until I can find work.
