Hey guys,

I might be looking to replacing my stock piston in the near future. I was wondering which stock bore piston is the BEST in the 10.5:1 - 11.5:1 range, because race gas is extremely rare, if existant, around here. The highest we can get a the pump is 91.

I've heard the Pami piston is good, and I've heard mixed comments on the Woods piston.

Opinions please.

I've had a RWR piston for several years. I've never had a single problem, even though I routinely replace them with every rebuild or case split. I'm having my tranny re-built and my local mechanic said it looked really good when he pulled it out. I'm going to the 14:1 piston next. I guess I'll have an extra used 11.5:1 piston laying around!

 

What would you want for the piston with new rings and shipping?
I live in Wisconsin.
Is it stock bore size?

 

I've got a RWR 11.5:1 stock bore piston with like 15 hours on it, like new......went with a 720.
