This has nothing to do with quads, just thought I'd share it anyway. My father's friend (some executive of a huge mutual fund company) has a Donzi ZX 45 Cigarette boat.

It is 45 feet long, looks killer, is worth about 600000$ or more, and check this....Powered by 3 (three) 750 horsepower Turbo charged 502 ci. engines. Went out for a drive on the bay this afternoon....I think I soiled myself.

I've never been in anything even half as fast...(Used to think my uncle's Corvette Z06 was fast...not anymore).

Off idle, he would floor all 3 engines, you litterally had to hold on with both hands, tightly, to keep yourself from flying out the back. In a mere 2 or 3 seconds we were doing over 80 mph. That is sick fast for a boat.

Couldn't take the smile off my face for quite a while...

Man that is sick...

Jeff

That is where the real men play: on the water. We think we spend money and have power. I have been on boats like that and bigger. Not only do they spend almost a million on the initial purchase, those motors are in need of rebuilds every 50 hrs or less, burn high octane race fuel (at a rate of up to 10-20 gallons per hour).
I wish I was RICH!!!!
I would buy this boat my boat ( I wish)
Not as big or expensive as the Donzi ( or was it a Cigarette?), but way bad a$$

Tyre, the owner of the boat, is his last name McBride. My best freinds uncle works for Sea-Doo and races offshore boats. He has been world champ 4 times. He runs triple big blocks with turbos and hes from Canada.

It says that they are capable of holding three 575 hp engines, not 750. I bet it is not even that fast, LOL.

I wanna ride, I wanna ride!

Wallstreet. It came with 3 Naturally apsirated GM Performance crate 502's (five-oh-two). They are now running Garrett turbos...Lag free I might add. He also added some other mods..but I really don't know what they are...I just saw in the engine bay...and it's sweet as hell.

He said they were putting out over 750 horsepower each. Bringing a total of 2250HP of big-bore big-block american muscle.

And the sound is deafening and breath-taking.

I hope I can get to ride in it again.
