From what ive seen, the more contact patch the better. Hoosiers would be ideal. Other than Hoosiers i think i would run the baldest ones i could find. We tried to dyno at the dirt drag nationals at Logan, WV, FORCEFED ran his DS with my 22" Razrs and they would not hook up. His 64 hp bike dynoed about 34 hp!

At Aledo we ran stock tires or dirt tires. He aired them up tight. When he pulled it down with straps it did hook up with no slipping. Slicks are the best but the others will work.

I heard you can find trailer tires to fit the ds, and that works well for dyno.
