Is this the death nail to Bombadier?
Caught about 5 minutes of it last night after watching the Tour de France. OLN is the network and if you haven't been watching the Tour this year you are truely missing out on one of the most exciting races ever in the Tour's history.
I always joke about why anyone would want to manually power a piece of equipment when you can go out an put a gasoline (or alky) powered engine in it and go much faster but, I have to give it to these guys. . . they are truely amazing! Wish I had one of them for a jocky for drag racing too (most of them are about 140 lbs. And they must be aggressive because I sure wouldn't take some of those down-hills (especially the turns) with that small amount of rubber on the ground and that small of brakes. One guy crashed last week just in front of Lance Armstrong and broke a few bones. The fall didn't look that bad in slow-mo but, when you realize these guys are going down at about 35-45 mph you understand real quick how dangerous this sport really is. Some great sportsmanship in yesterday's stage too.
