Try explaining that to the judge. You and Big ole Bubba will be partying for a loooooong time. The tough talk is entertaining, but is also very illegal. Shooting someone over personal property ain't gonna cut it. If your life is in danger....that's a different story.

 

Colorado has the "make my day" law....as long as there in the house.....I wouldn't shoot them in the back if there running away

You forget, I live in La. and we have Coona$$ laws. I have taken a shot at a buglar before. Hes damn lucky I missed. Besides that if I get into trouble my brother, is the mayor, judge, sheriff, barber, accountant, and town drunk.lol

Tony, you are correct. If someone attempts to break into your house, grab your gun, call 911, and wait for them to enter the house then shoot. If they enter your house, that is an attempt on your life because there was... ahem, a struggle, and you shot them. Make sure they don't fall back outside the door and make sure their blood in on the inside of your house. If you screw up, and shoot them before they enter, drag them inside.... I had a problem with the home inspector from the real estate company that was buying my house. The inspector was a woman, and was drugged out on meth, and was wacked out. I noticed it after I let her into my house. I then asked her to leave. She refused. I asked her real strong and.... ahem.... showed her the door. Then locked it, called 911. She got here druggie boyfriend (who was waiting in the car) to come out of the car and pound my door - nearly broke down the door. My buddy Bryan (some of you know him) was ready with a baseball bat and was gonna bonk him on the head when he came in. Fortunatly the cops came, and arrested both of them. The real estate company fired the chick, and the boyfriend ended up in possesion of Crystal Meth. Apparently, she not only inspected homes, but also helped her boyfriend with deliveries and scoping out valuables in homes.

I was kinda looking forward to seeing Bryan bonk that dude on the head! Oh well!
