Just wanted to let all you all know about the mods i put on. Although I am still waiting for the vortex cdi box to arrive, I whent ahead and put the bike back together with just the carb mount knn, jet kit and endcap mod (thanx to bigger for letting me try it out). Let me tell you about the torque she has now. MAN O MAN!!! I can get her up in first and second now without any clutch work at all! She is as smooth as a baby's butt through all the gears. Man this really woke her up! Trails are a sinch with this new added torque.

I cant wait to add more goodies. glad you like it, the loss of those muffler baffles is what you feel the most - really adds a big boost to the bottom end where she lacked it the most. you'll really like the addidtion of the new cdi, have fun!

Yah i hear ya pureintimidation. When my bike was stock i was thinking why the heck are these guys getting higher rev. limiters. I would rarely ever hit it, but now i hit it all the time. Thats my next upgrade.

 

I've never ridden a stock DS [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]. Leads me to wonder how much slower they are than mine...Who knows...maybe they are faster [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].
