Default Silver Lake... anyone wanna come along?

I bought it off a once fellow DSer and I sent it to Oldham Machine Works to fine tune the carb for me. The carb isn't your typical carb. It has some funky stuff to it. What is neat about it is that the bowl is plastic and you can see the gas sitting in there. I like it. Much better alternative than the TM 45. My only two issues with it is

1. I gotta figure a way to keep the cable stuff in the lectron so it doesn't pop off and force me to ride WOT (it can be scary and dangerous)
2. Without any modifications to the stock thumb throttle housing, the lever doesn't have enough throw to open it all the way.

I was told you can modify the throttle housing do this. I invested in a dremmel tool (very useful tool to have)and I'm determined to get it running with the stock throttle housing. If successful, I will post pics for other DSers wanting an alternative to our limited resource of carbuerators.

I've seen the throttle housing mod - you gotta cut a hole in the side of it to get the travel you need. the dremel otta work.
