well from the other post,i guess there is some that don't know what goes on with it, so i'll explain some of it.
1st, it is a 105 bore same as the 760
the problem i saw with the pami( not that it was bad) was there cylinder was shorter than stock, and couldn't run it without the stroke, thus if a guy didn't have the 5000 to go full 760 there was no steps, in between so a guy could work his way there.
2nd, you don't have to machine the cases for just the bore, this is something that eats a lot of cash in labor
3rd, now for the good part say you go 720 and then find you think you need more power, or like most and can't get enough, you can go back and have the crank stroked, this will run some money which, most might find hard to spend. but at least there is a way to work yourself to the top, in stages.
so say a guy has a $1000 parts for a piston and cam and springs will put you in this area, or you could order a sleeved cylinder, with piston gaskets stay bolts, all things to have a 720 bore, from there you can move into the head which is a area of debate, but with cams, and a tm 45 you will have a very nice machine. run that for a year and then you might want to consider dual carbs. then after you have some more cash you can send the engine in and have it changed into a 760. the whole 760 will still probably cost about the same as a pami but guys can do it in stages, and have a lot of fun in between.
well there is a lot more to it but it is a lot easier than it sounds, plus it seems to perform real well,
i have the stage two and for the money spent on it and the performance differance, the 720 wins in a big way
