Tires are like most things in life you get what you pay for.

 

i went with the geckos last year. did a couple trips to the dunes and thought it was an alright tire, seems like a very durable set of paddles. unfortunatly i think i'm missing out on alot of power, so i think i'll invest in some sand skate II. But if anyone wants a twice ridden set of 20" gecko's give me a pm and we'll nogotiate.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I would recomend 22's with lower gearing.. otherwise your just digging corn rows....even the 22 bury sometimes.. The DS likes 22 sand tires....BIG TIME... I would get sand scates II if I did it

so what is the cheapest tire of the ones u guys are suggesting? (i think i want a v blade, but i also want to be able to roost and have pretty good hook up....)

i want to buy them pre mounted (having the tires mounted around here is around 20 bucks a tire....)

it would be nice not to spend over like 215 on the full set mounted (the ones i had mentioned to buy were premounted on douglas red label .190s for 150-170)

any suggestions? (i usually like to buy from rocky mountain cuz they have decent shipping/tire prices)

ive found most everything ATV especially tires to be the cheapest here.....

im now looking into the ITP sand stars...seem to be a really good tire for cheap....

but no one has them in stock!

 

I've been running sand sharks for 2 years , nothing wrong with the way they climb,and play,but v-cut paddles slow you down in a drag race
