Jumping, heck yea. Turning, maybe with the stock tires on. I am a big guy and the stock rear tires gripped so much that it was almost scary to try and powerslide. I have since then installed RAZR's all the way around and the difference is night and day. It turns on a dime and you can powerslide anywhere, anytime. I think this could be accomplished with about any good MX tire. The joy of the DS is the power and the fact that there is a lot more room than most quads to move off the seat and use body english to move the quad around. I rode a Raptor before my DS and it took me a long time to trust the fact that it doesn't bite back if you jump wrong. Just go for broke and if you don't make it take pictures.

a 90-degree turn on 3rd gear shouldn't be a problem as long as you give 'er some gas and you have a good sliding tire...Make sure to haul your weight to the inside of the turn and you'll be fine...

The DS is not made for the MX track.

It handles very well, but the wieght of the machine, and LONG travel suspension work against you on the track. If your used to your 250r, than I would suggest the preditor,or YFZ, or the new honda.

Bigger.
