G*dd*m...

How exactly did you learn??

I was just about to do the switch...now I learn I need loctite...


I know Mudstud and Hightower(I think) don't use any...who else doesn't or does use loctite on the sprocket nut??

wen i switched from 16 to 17 then back to 16, i didn't put any on, and after i went for long ride, i looked down and it was gone

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]... Is there anything else that can be a subsitute for Loc-Tite... Would epoxy work or something??

I'm gonna have to wait till next monday if I want to get some Loc-Tite...cuz my parents are gone camping...and my brother is gone with my car... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Default Front sprocket nut...

super glue works... But I didn't put anything on mine, it has a lock washer to keep the nut from rotating... I used a 14" adjustable wrench and had the wife hold the rear brake.

Well, actually the last time I took my nut off to put my 15 on from 14 the nut was not on hard.. I chose to put blue on there when the 15 went on.. So I now use BLUE on it..

ya, i forgot all about that washer, bend it so the nut can't turn, now that i think of it i think b4 i lost that other nut my bro put it on, maybe he didn't bend it? hmm, i just put a tiny dab of blue just incase but u should b fine

I also rebent the washer, you supposed to replace it but I never did. BLUE LT works fine.

K I got the nut off...Man was she tight or what...
