Scooby, your signature says you would'nt buy another bomdardier. Why so? This must be something you feel strongly about to announce to everyone. Please explain.

 

hassles & headaches outweigh the positives. i'm not going to bash bom while I own one. maybe when there isn't one in my signature, then I'll post my stories.

 

You went on a wild ride to get a wild ride. You took the road less traveled and stuck it out for sure. Probably would have blown the guts out of any other quad running that kind of horsepower.
I'm planning on trying something a little easier this winter and dropping a streetbike motor into a DS frame. We'll see how that goes.

Umm headaches? My piped and jetted works just fine. Only maitinence are oil changes and occasionaly spark plugs. Ohh yeah and gas. Other then that it runs great and starts everytime. I have watched many a DS owner/ shade tree mechanic spend more time wrenching on their quads then riding at the dunes. Of course they were all running heavily modified DS though. Just ask Al AKA Sand Pig how much work hes gonna do to his viper red DS.

 

You can't honestly expect for a DS650 with a turbo and being bulit to make 120 HP to not be a baskit case can you?? I'm afraid your asking for a bit much IMO...
