need some one to do a quick check please!
I noticed a loose wire from my wiring harness in the area of the temperature sensor. This is the black rubber boot above the 3/4" coolant line leaving the head on the right hand side. Any way my shop manual doesn't specify if there are one or two wires connected to the spade connector that you plug into the temp senso. I would reallyappreciate it if some one would slide their boot back and see how many wires actually go into the spade connector. The wire color I have is black w/grey stripe.
Thanks in advance

major, if i'm right in thinking your talkin about the one sensor controlling the red light there is only one wire, but i didn't check the wire color, i just looked at the sensor in the toolbox(replaced it wit temp guage sender) and looked at the taped spade connection

actually I'm talking about the other end of that wire that attaches to the switch that has a temp sensor , so one end has the temp sensor the other the temp indicator( red light) , I just found the wiring schematic folded on the very last page of the manual and it does look like we have two black/grey wires leaving the sensor.
thanks - for you efforts lilnotts!

i'm not sure what you mean, the one i looked at is the one that turns on the red light if it gets too hot, that sensor has only one flat male spade and the wire actually has 2 wires going into one female flat spade connector, which looks to be black wires wit a gray stripe(its dirty, hard 2 tell), hope this is what your looking for
