Default Weight savings

OK so I've been to the dunes 3 times this year, so I decided to get some front dune tires, I was only running extremes in the rear and 23" holeshots on the front. So I get some Kenda dune runners, less than $120 for the set on 160 rims A weight savings of 5# per tire and wheel. I had a busted fender I made into a dune fender, weight 1.5 # My stock fender and I had the alum heel guards, a weight of 9# give or take a # it was hard to weigh. I took off the front fenders at 2.5# each. So this is a total weight savings of 22.5# ! Wow no wonder it seemed like I was going fast!

So to you part time duners that don't know it they want to get sand tires, you should!

Also the 22" Holeshots for the rear weigh 24#
and my extremes weigh 18#, these are on 190 rims.

((These weights were taken on an old bathroom scale, not sure how accurate, but I'm sure it is pretty close))

I weigh approx 150# so I never worried about if the scale weighed a pound or 2 off,,,I rarely weigh myself, my wife did wonder what I was doing with a bathroom scale in my garage
