tire spin
#1
while at ds days jeff broke out the radar gun well at first i was wondering what for well a couple of runs up the hill and i had picked up 2 mph (changed how i was sitting). well my speed was 44mph in third, my rpms was between 8200-8600. so i come home and with my tire size and gearing at that rpm i should have been at 56 mph, so i lost 12mph in there some where, since i run 8 paddle i was wondering if another paddle would have helped, maybe it is as good as it was going to be, but i was wondering. well maybe it needed a little more tire spin (7 paddle) to be able to pull 4th, well any thoughts on this would be cool

i think the drier the sand got the slower i got with the tires i was running, would have really liked a few runs on thursday when the sand had a hard bottom. but i also started to learn the swingarm and how to launch it better, both shell and i were still riding the tank at first then realised ride the rear tires and let the quad hold itself done it did help.

have you tried ten paddles on your 720 yet because i would think that would be a good choice for drag racing uphill.i am getting ready to drop some more dollars into the raptor to help carry me up the hill faster i am hoping another 1000.00 should do it and i am sure cathy is hoping that also.i am thinking maybe a 727 with higher compression and a cam should make quite a difference along with some porting.maybe i shouldnt be talking about a yamyhaha over here but oh well.
