NEW CARB WITH ALKY QUESTION

I AM INSTALLING A 11.5:1 PISTON AND A NEW CARB WITH ALKY TO MY DS. I AM TRYING TO DESIDE BETWEEN A TM45, TM42, OR THE SET UP LIKE BIGGERS GOT. WITH THE TM CARBS WHAT SIZE JETS DO YOU RUN. DO YOU NEED THE ACCEL PUMP HOOKED UP WITH ALKY? I WOULD RATHER GAIN MORE LOW TO MID AND KEEP MY TOP END AS IT IS NOW RATHER THAN GAING ALOT OF TOP END AND LOSING LOW END. I WILL BE KEEPING THE STOCK CAMS. DOES ANY ONE RUN THE TM42 WITH ALKY?

i say the TM45..thats what i am running...i am running no pilot jet and a 230 Main...i took my accelorator pump off and it made the thumb throttle easier!you will need a new throttle cable if you want your throttle to be easy to push!but the tm45 and alky makes a HUGE diff!

i just ordered a jr drag carb like bigger has. i talked to the designer who installed it on biggers bike and he said it worked incredible and is alot easier to tune. i have an air fuel guage on my bike now. will this still be usable with alky?

i just picked up a 30 gallon drum of alcohol with lube. almost there. just wating for my parts to show up and assemble and see what shes got! any idea of the gain ill pick up over my old setup. im adding the piston, throttle body and alcohol. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
