Default is .004 valve clearance anything to worry about?

i was going through and getting my 03' ds650 ready for the start of the dune season and decided to go ahead and check the shim clearances, i've checked the a couple times before throughout the year- i got my ds last december, and while my buddy dsjobber already had to go and adjust his shim clearances, mine has'nt been an issue, i think my smallest one is a hair over .004 on one of the intake valves and up to .006 on one of the exhaust, soooo my question is should i just not worry about it and check it in like another 50 hours? so am i just lucky so far? and should i worry about the clearance's?

dont over-rev when the engine is cold,,,,and check the valves at least every 50 anyhow.

i wouldnt worry,,,just keep them within spec

ditto Bing - .004-.006 is spec, so your .004 is cool. When the intakes get down to .002-.003 definitely adjust.
The intake clearance decreases faster than the exhaust clearances 90% of the time, because they have a larger diameter.
