WOW, what a pain in the butt!!!!!

It looks VERY simple at first glance, its what 7 bolts per side..
What the bottoms were easy to get on, but my tops did not fit well, I had to expand my mounts on the ds to get them on.. YUCK, and the shock had to be helped into the lower socket as well.. I was kinda hoping it would just slip in with no help at all.. It took my about 2.5 hrs for them. I also mounted up my new Klaws in front It looks pretty sweat. No pics yet,, Its pretty dirty and needs a nice bath before I post pics. I will start my swing arm as soon as I can find my bushings I bought
I mounted a new bumper, bar riser and fat bars. it looks good....

I just got done mounting my A-arms up front on the DS and I am in the process of mounting up my Wife's +4 swingarm on the Raptor.

Biggest tip for the swingarm is get all new pivot joints for the swingarm connection to the frame (Pivot Works has them in kits.) If you try to take your stock ones out you will just break them and need to buy a new set anyways.

Now you've done it! You made me look at the DS Parts manual!

Looks like the parts you need are:
706 000 089 - Cushion (two - one right and one left)
293 300 068 - O-ring (two - one right and one left.)

(As usual - not nearly as difficult as the Raptor!)

Check with your dealer to verify these and make sure there aren't any parts I may have missed.

Good luck!

My rms took a while too. When I got my a-arms they took a little manipultion too. They were the first set they made for the 400ex and had jigged them up off a brand new 400. When I went to mount them it was a tight fit. I found that even though I never wrecked my bike all the riding had made some "adjustments" to the overall structure so tolerances change.
I hope you enjoy your new setup, I've ridden one with it for 140 miles as my part of race and can attest to it's durability and effectiveness.

Cool man, can't wait to see it when its done, all lowered!
About the o-rings - you can get them from hardware store or auto parts store, if you stock ones are ate up, but if they aren't too pitted up they're fine.
I can't belive TBR didn't supply those brass bushigs with tje kit! You can't get the old ones outa the stocker without destroying them, they should know that!
