I live in Seattle, WA and I am going to buy a ds 650 baja. There is one for sale at my local dealer for a 2003 baja for 5,800. I am having second thoughts about it and am wondering if weight and the rev limiter is a big issue. I am planning to ride it at dunes, woods.... all riding conditions and i love to jump.... I am 16 and had a banshee for a year and am experienced. Any Thoughts?

i'd come down to oregon and get one of the 04's for 5999, there faster lighter, and yes the ds can jump. bigslim and i were out jumping and we got these 400 hondas to jump with us, they finally said they couldn't jumpas far as us because they couldn't launch any faster they were out of power at the top of the hill

I have a ds 650 with an alba pipe and k&n air filter it really brought it alive. The suspension on jumping is unbelieveable, it feels like you land on a huge cotton ball when you land. In the woods i am not really sure it might be kind of big. I have two downfalls about it, it dosen't turn very sharp and no reverse. But other than that it is one fast machine. It will eat raptors and preadtors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
