I have the TBR and the Top o the line Elkas and its a great set up. I wouldnt go with the strong arms because if i remember right they are not adjustable. Amd if im not mistaken they use ball joints on the upper and lower. Go Tbr they have been working great for me for about 6 months. I need the adjustability because I ride Mx and the steering is way too heavy with the stock castor.

Yeah, the lower ball joint on a Bomb is prone to breaking, that's why the stock arms set up their lower ball joint the way they do, and that's why TBR uses a self lubricating spherical heim, it eliminates the shear point caused by the ball joint angle. Believe me I've seen those things let go and it isn't pretty.

I have Strong arms and can't recommend them due to a clearance issue, Strong arms are quality made and Mark at HSD is a nice guy, also from Winnipeg. I helped him with the DS Baja A-arm design, I'm going on the 3rd set now. He just cant seem to get the lower A arm to not hit the tie rod end. The result of this is steering lock up when fully turned to the right or left. Not good..... He is in the process of a completely new design right now. I have the V2 design on my DS now and like them they are tuff as hell, but they hit....
Now as I read your info on your quad I see that you have a 2000 DS maybe this won't be an issue for you, if you decide on the strong A-arms I would call Mark first.... Just my 2 cents worth.
